Description
Use air as the arc-quenching medium to interrupt current during overload and short-circuit conditions. They are often used in large power distribution systems where higher voltage levels and breaking capacities are required. ACBs play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of electrical systems by quickly isolating faulty circuits in the event of electrical faults.
Available with rated currents from 630A to 6300A and short-circuit currents from 42kA to 150kA, these breakers are used for switching, protection, and control of low-voltage feeders. Depending on the requirements or different protections, they can have additional equipment (accessories) such as auxiliary contacts and trip and close coils for fault/motor. For ease of use and to achieve the desired current, the adjustment range of these breakers is usually 0.4~1 In (rated motor current).
